REVOLUTIONARY PHOTOGRAPHER
Picture
Rahn Robert Dennis known to most as Ducho was born in Omaha Nebraska on May 31st 1934 to Emmett and Lucile Dennis. During the 1960's Ducho moved to California's San Francisco Bay Area to join the Struggle for Black African Liberation. Ducho was a proud loving family man, a loving husband to wife Carol and loving brother to Emmett Jr. He was a Loving Father of 3 sons (Rahn, Senay & Sadao), a Grand Father of 7 (Rahn 3, Cedric, Demetrius, Sadao Jr., Senay Jr., China, Jackson) and a Great Grand Father of four. Ducho encouraged friends, family and the community to study African history, spirituality and to organize for justice. His legacy as a political organizer, Muni union organizer, African history teacher and Black Panther Party photographer lives on. We have been blessed to know his Love, privileged to have benefitted from his giving spirit and deep wisdom. May his Spiritual journey to the Ancestors be Peaceful and the lives he touched prosper in his honor. Poppa-Ducho, We Salute You....All Power to the People!
